Diffusers and Dry Embossing with Spellbinder Circles

Just to create a more finished look, I dry embossed a circle on the Core'dinations cardstock after it had been put through an embossing folder.

Knot Pleased

I am not happy with the knot in this bow, so I'm going to tie a simple knot with this ribbon.

Part 1

Part 2

Part3

I'm posting these cards on Steph's behalf.  Sorry I didn't take note of the creator of each one!

Banner Banners

The flag dies from MFT perfectly die cut different sizes of patterned paper scraps to create a border. This would look great on a scrapbook page, on a bigger scale.

Double Take

First I stamped my floral image, then I embossed the oval with the Stampin' Up oval embossing folder.  To eliminate the lines created by the edge of this mini folder, I embossed a rectangular frame too. I plan to try using a thinner embossing pad to see if I get better results.

Burlap

I cut several layers of bookpage paper with a Spellbinders Dahlia die to make a flower and used the same die to cut a piece of burlap as the base. Inked everything with Antique Linen Distress Ink to pull all of the elements together.

Quick and Easy

I used two pieces of patterned paper from the same paper pad to cut a strip for a border.  Not sure if I'm happy with the placement of the flourish die cut...

Distress Glitter

This is the first of many cards I plan to make using the new Distress Glitter. It's sugary appearance was ideal to use on the frosting of my cupcake.

Ladybug, Ladybug

This metal ladybug embellishment was the perfect thing to use with the ladybug patterned paper. The red gingham patterned paper adds to the summertime theme.

It's All About Balance

I used the die cut butterfly to balance the "birthday" stamped in the bottom left hand side of the card design. The two layers of the butterfly were cut out of two colours of cardstock found in the scrap of patterned paper.

A Little Sparkle

Below the premade paper flower, I added loops of glittery ric rac.

This sentiment perfectly fit on the MFT Fishtail Flag Die.

Using the Negatives

I used the pieces that popped out of the die cut to "frame" the sentiment on the top and bottom.

My New Sizzix "Happy" Die

I found yet another way to use up scraps of patterned paper!  The top hat was die cut from the Sizzix Snowman Die set.

Dies from the Spellbinder Antique Frames Set

I needed a "yellow" Glimmermist to colour the paper flowers to match the patterned paper and was pleased to discover that Gold was actually yellow!
