Ink, Paper, Scissors: November 2013

Though I haven't gotten any of the new Tim Holtz layering stencils, I thought I would try the moulding paste with an old stencil. I coloured the paste with some Distress Peeled Paint, stirring the mixture in a disposable plastic cup. In this case, I felt that the embossing didn't stand out enough from the patterned paper, so I gave the bottom left hand corner of the card front a few shots of Glimmer Mist. I blotted the excess mist off of the embossed image. Perhaps a darker shade of a mist would have provided more contrast between the leaves and the background paper.
