The white cardstock layer actually opens, but the mauve, scalloped cardstock is the back of the card.

Shadowing with Glimmer Mist

This butterfly die set includes a solid butterfly, so I adhered the pieces together and sprayed them with Granite Glimmermist.  When the detailed butterfly wings were folded to the centre, the pattern created by the mist appeared on the solid butterfly.

Since the card kit come with a spring to make the ladybug jiggle, I added googly eyes to take advantage of the motion.

Used a vertical sentiment stamp for a portrait, rather than landscape, design and embellished with a die cut poinsettia finished with rhinestones.
