I wasn't satisfied with leaving the cardstock base white behind the snowman, so I dug out my Crafter's Companion Mini Cosmic Swirl template and stippled white paint on it with an Adirondack Snowcap paint dabber--instant pattern and texture!

Acrylic Paint Dabbers
I finally got around to using Acrylic Paint Dabbers. In this case I had hoped that the paint would be more opaque, not allowing the patterned paper to show through. Though I am not entirely disappointed with the results, it wasn't what I had planned to achieve. The paints do, however, provide a little texture to the stamped image that inks do not. Just another way to create.
