Die Cutting Embossed Shapes


Many people ask whether they should die cut and then dry emboss, so that they do not lose the texture in the cardstock. I always dry emboss my paper first and then cut my shape. The shaped die leaves a finished edge on the die cut.

Papers: cardstock (Bazzill Light Rosey), patterned (Daisy D's)
Ink: Colorbox Shabby Pink
Accessories: Spellbinder Fancy Tags and Hearts, Burnt Red Glimmer Mist, Blush pearls (Kaiser), Cuttlebug Textile Text Embossing Folder, flower and leaves and button and embroidery thread (stash)
