Since I knew exactly what colour I wanted to use for this Christmas cardinal, I was pleased to find a bold striped, patterned paper to support it. To tone down the white cardstock, I lightly sprayed the stamped image with Glimmer Mist. This brought the tone closer to that of the patterned paper. Though birds' eyes are not crystal, I wanted to tie together the sparkly elements: glittery ribbon and rhinestone stick pin.
