I chose to pull out the purples in these patterned papers by using a dark purple (wine) cardstock base. Coordinating papers from the same pad help pull the elements of the card design together. The heart was to the right of the ribbon, however, the bow overpowered it, so I moved it up and balanced the layout with a bit of bling.
