Die Cuts from Patterned Paper

Sometimes I wonder why I don't think of some of the simplest ideas sooner. Die cutting a shape out of a patterned paper that coordinates with another patterned paper already used in the card design just helps pull everything together. I've also used the doily image another way by stamping it in a tone on tone. The green paper is actually one of the "solids" from the Basic Grey Mellow patterned paper pad.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Magenta
Papers: white cardstock (Georgia Pacific), patterned (Basic Grey Mellow)
Ink: Distress Walnut Stain, Colorbox Citrus
Accessories: Quickutz Butterfly Die, May Arts Ribbon
